Dans l\u2019obligation de faire confiance \u00e0 son \u00e9quipage, il s\u2019est donn\u00e9 comme seule pr\u00e9rogative, celle d\u2019appuyer sur le bouton nucl\u00e9aire en cas de guerre ; pour le reste, il a transf\u00e9r\u00e9 le pouvoir de d\u00e9cision l\u00e0 o\u00f9 se trouvait l\u2019information. Il raconte qu\u2019en 24h00, les 135 marins \u00e0 bord se sont mis \u00e0 penser, \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir sur ce qu\u2019il convenait de faire pour atteindre le cap fix\u00e9 dans les meilleures conditions. Chacun se sentant responsabilis\u00e9 au maximum et focalis\u00e9 sur l\u2019objectif, l\u2019esprit d\u2019initiative et la motivation ont d\u00e9cupl\u00e9 \u00e0 bord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plusieurs initiatives dans le monde de ce type de management ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9es (Gortex, Harley Davison, SOL, Favi\u2026). Certains l\u2019appellent le\u00a0management collaboratif,\u00a0d\u2019autres\u00a0l\u2019entreprise lib\u00e9r\u00e9e, d\u2019autres encore la\u00a0sociocratie, dans tous les cas c\u2019est un management bas\u00e9 sur la confiance plus que le contr\u00f4le. Les dirigeants sont focalis\u00e9s \u00e0 bien communiquer la direction, le cap, l\u2019objectif ; libre au collaborateur de trouver le meilleur moyen de l\u2019atteindre. Il existe dans ces entreprises une grande libert\u00e9 et une autonomie sur l\u2019organisation du travail. Les d\u00e9cisions sont souvent prises par ceux qui l\u2019appliquent, donc tr\u00e8s proches du terrain. Elles sont copartag\u00e9es \u00e0 plusieurs.
